Thank you for completing the Niagara Homestay & International Student Services homestay placement program application form. Niagara Homestay & International Student Services (“NHISS,” “we,” or “us”) is a Niagara-based small business that offers a range of services to international students coming to Ontario. One of the services we offer is homestay placement. Through our homestay placement program (our “Services”), we help to arrange for international students to live with local families while attending school or university in Ontario. When NHISS provides its Services to a student or a host family, NHISS may collect, use, and disclose the student’s or host family members’ “Personal Information,” meaning information that directly or indirectly identifies them. For example, the application form that you just completed asks for certain Personal Information about you or your family members. We are committed to being transparent about how we handle Personal Information. This Privacy Policy explains to students, parents, and host family members how and why we collect, use, and disclose Personal Information at NHISS. If you are a student, parent, or host family who wishes to use NHISS’ services, please read this Privacy Policy before proceeding further with the application process. After you read this Privacy Policy, you will be asked to confirm that you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. Once you provide your confirmation, you will be able to submit your application form, submit your payment, and begin receiving our Services.
